My passion for photography began as a teenager. I am a sports fan, but unlike many of my friends that were memorizing every stat for their favorite player, I was paging through Sports Illustrated and getting inspired by people like Hy Peskin, Howard Bingham, and Walter Iooss. People you may never have heard of, yet whose photos revolutionized the world of sports photography.

And while sports photography is still a passion of mine, I have branched out creatively and tried many different genres. Now, I primarily shoot live theater, sporting events, and portraits. For me, photography will always be about telling the story; capturing the emotion of an instant in time; reflecting the beauty of God's wonderful creation, and creating an image with light and color that invokes a response in your head, heart, and soul.
